35. Nancy McANALLY. Born on 12 Dec 1819 in Stokes Co., NC. Nancy died in 1898, she was 78.

In 1844 when Nancy was 24, she married Horation Penn KALLEM, in Stokes Co., NC. Born in 1801 in Stokes Co., NC. Horation Penn died in 1889, he was 88.

They had one child:

36. Mary Murilla McANALLY. Born on 8 Jul 1830 in Stokes Co., NC. Mary Murilla died in Yadkin County, NC on 24 Sep 1865, she was 35.337 Buried in Richmmond Hill Plantation Cemetery.

"Dear Sister Mary,
I want to see you. I would not advise you to marry now, but do as you please. I have a kind husband and as good children as any body but still I have a lot of trouble. You must write to me about them, who they are and what their names are."377

Mary Murilla married Henry B. SNOW. Born in Jan 1821 in Surry Co., NC. Henry B. died in Surry Co., NC in 1907, he was 85. Buried in Dobson Cemetery, Surry Co., NC.

20 Mar 1857 - Henry chosen to represent the American Party for Stokes Co.,NC among a bunch of other men.

According to the 1880 census report, Henry Snow was a jailer. This
information is supported by information in Marion Snow Barrett’s letter.
She said that Henry Snow first bought a hotel in Dobson, the Dobson
Democratic Hotel. Mrs. Barrett said that Mr. Snow heard that the prisoners
in the local jail were being mistreated and fed poorly. Mr Snow asked the
Sheriff, Frank Burrus, if he could serve the prisoners the same meals that
he provided the guests of his hotel. The sheriff inspected the jail, found
the conditions to be intolerable, fired the jailer, and appointed Mr. Snow
as jailer. The sheriff also inspected the "Poor House" and found conditions
there to be even worse than those at the jail. He asked Mr. Snow if he
would take on the responsibility of providing meals to those in the "Poor
House." Mr. Snow hired more cooks and thereafter served meals to the
prisoners and the poor.366, 378

11 Feb 1977 - Information in a letter from Marion Snow Barrett to Forester Booker: Charles Snow became a preacher. He married had 2 daughters. His wife left him and took the children.379

On 26 Sep 1886 when Rev. Charles P. was 30, he married Jesse Belle WAUGH.

Her name is also seen as Sally O.379

Sarah Q. "Sally" married Jefferson JOHNSON.

iv. Nancy Virginia "Ginny". Born on 20 Aug 1862 in Yadkin Co., NC. Nancy Virginia "Ginny" died on 10 Jan 1845 in Forsyth Co., NC. Buried in Wood lawn Cemetery, Forsyth Co., NC.

Her name is also found as Jenny N. Snow.379

On 2 Oct 1881 when Nancy Virginia "Ginny" was 19, she married James Wesley DUNNAGAN.

v. Henry Clay. Born abt 1864 in Yadkin Co., NC. Henry Clay died in Forsyth Co., NC on 4 Dec 1913, he was 49. Buried in Wood lawn Cemetery, Forsyth Co., NC.

Henry Clay married Sallie BUNKER.
