"A Shot Gun to the Front:
Last Wednesday a difficulty occurred between Mr. Mat Ziglar and his father in law, Mr. Edward Banner, two respectively farmers living a short distance Northeast of the city. Banner, it seems, owned the property upon which Mr. Ziglar lives, and having disposed of the same, requested possession. Warm words followed and the end was that Banner procured his double-barreled shot gun and emptied one barrel at Ziglar, scattering load over his face and body. The wounds are quite painful, but it is thought, not of a serious nature. The members of a family frequently disagree is to be deplored. Peace betwixt man and man and woman is a blessed state of existence and borders upon divine nature. The individual that conquers the human in this respect has made a good start upon the way to a better life."
