Campbell and Abraham Hooper of Wilkes County and State of North Carolina are held and firmly bound unto the Governor of said State and his Sucessors in Office in the full sum of two Hundred pounds To which payment will and truely to be made we bind ourselves our Heirs &c jointly and severally by these presents Sealed with our Seals and dated the 7th of May A.D. 1817.
The condition of the above Obligation is such that whereas the above bounded Thomas STANDLEY hath made application for a License to keep an Ordinary or Tavern at his house.
Now if the said Thomas STANDLEY shall comply with the Law in every Respect Relative to keeping an Ordinary or public house of Enternment, then the above Obligation to be void or else to remain in full force and virtue.
